Ganesha – The remover of obstacles.
The two superimposed triangles that create the six-pointed star that often graces the temenos of yantras, express the resolution of all opposition. This form allows all the dichotomies in the universe to resolve themselves in the bindu at the center of this star. This resolution is the essence of the divine energy. Further, many traditional yantras are labeled with the names of deities, mantras, or concepts on their various parts both in the central circle, or temenos, and in the borders. The yantrtas presented here are, with one exception, not created with a verbal component, but with trust that the essence of the sacred geometry will work intuitively upon the viewer.
